BioI'm a mother of a 15 year-old son. He was recently diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome and I have since made it my mission to learn all I can about this disorder. If you or someone you know has TS and any or all co-morbid conditions that come along with it, please feel free to add me as a friend and let me know how you cope. I've started on the journey to getting my son a 504 or an IEP and while I know this particular path can be a bumpy ride, I'm more than ready for the fight. I'm also newly married, to a great guy that has two girls, ages nine and twelve. Having step-kids can be a nightmare. The kids are great, but the ex and all the baggage that comes along with it can be quite scary. It's something that I take a day at a time. Got some pointers or words of wisdom, pass them along.
